Our obsession for quality

Part 1: Our Fabrics

Since the beginning of our journey, we have always been obsessively focused on the quality of our materials. We believe that true luxury lies in the ability to choose with intention and precision. That’s why we’ve curated a small selection of raw materials, ensuring the highest level of quality in everything we create.

Our story began with the introduction of an Interlock Jersey made from fine Supima Cotton. The fibre we use is the thinnest and longest cotton staple available globally. Sourced from the USA, where strict regulations ensure traceability, we trust that this cotton is harvested and processed with a commitment to both the soil and the people involved in its production.

Using this exceptional fibre, we developed the most durable cotton jersey. We worked with a small fabric producer in Northern Italy, allowing us to closely oversee every production step, as everything happens within the same small-scale factory. Through this family business, we’ve crafted a fabric that is not only durable but breathable, elegant, and incredibly comfortable. We’ve achieved a perfect balance between comfort, performance, and style. The durability of this fabric is partly due to its dense weave, which incorporates numerous yarns per centimetre. The result is an unbreakable yet remarkably comfortable jersey fabric.

We offer two weights of the Supima Interlock: the lighter weight for tops and sport shorts, and a slightly heavier version for trousers, body warmers, and more, with exciting new releases to come.

In addition to the Supima Cotton Interlock, we proudly use the finest Merino Wool yarns, sourced exclusively from New Zealand. Renowned for its luxury qualities, New Zealand merino wool is incredibly soft, lightweight, and breathable, offering exceptional comfort without adding bulk. Its natural moisture-wicking properties keep the wearer dry and fresh, while its durability and resistance to pilling ensure a sleek appearance over time. Known for its sustainability, New Zealand merino is ethically sourced and biodegradable, making it an eco-friendly choice. With its natural sheen and versatility in yarn weight, it is perfect for everything from suits to t-shirts. Moreover, merino wool resists odours, making it ideal for all-day wear.

While the merino yarn comes from New Zealand, the fabric we use is crafted by one of the oldest wool fabric producers in the Biella region of Northern Italy, world-renowned for its luxury production standards. The factory producing our wool fabrics is B Corp certified, and it is one of the leading innovators in wool fabric production.

We believe that luxury materials don’t necessarily need to be labeled with every modern certification. However, we understand that many of our customers value transparency and assurance. We can proudly confirm that all of our cotton fibres meet the following industry standards: Global Organic Textile Standard (GOTS), OEKO-TEX Standard 100, and the Better Cotton Initiative (BCI). Our merino wool meets the standards set by these certifications: Responsible Wool Standard (RWS), Global Organic Textile Standard (GOTS), OEKO-TEX Standard 100, and ZQ Merino.
